1895.

Established in 1895, The Philadelphia Bourse Company became the nation’s first building to simultaneously house a stock exchange, maritime exchange, and grain trading floor. Among its original tenants were American Telephone and Telegraph and McCormick Steamship Lines.

2026.

A new chapter begins in 2026, as The Bourse undergoes a transformative redevelopment. Positioned at the heart of Philadelphia’s Semiquincentennial celebrations, the reimagined Bourse will become a vibrant, mixed-use destination featuring a boutique, a curated restaurant and café, and contemporary office space.

Past forward.

Part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, The Bourse Hotel blends bold design, rich textiles, and immersive experiences that pay homage to the building’s storied past. It is elegant and timeless, yet undeniably modern, offering guests a stay unlike anything else in Philadelphia. The Bourse Hotel will feature 152 rooms across the third, fourth, and eighth floors and is slated to open in early 2026, just in time for America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

Signature experience.

The ground floor will house a 7,500-square-foot signature restaurant designed to elevate the guest and tenant experience. Visitors, office workers, and future residents of 400 Market Street will enjoy access to a full suite of amenities, including a gym, sauna, pickleball courts, and a golf simulator.

Work with character.

The Bourse’s office spaces retain their original architectural charm while introducing modern comforts and design. Tenants enjoy access to a fitness center with a dedicated yoga room and a 4,000-square-foot lounge, fully equipped with a kitchen, private conference rooms, and spaces designed for both focused work and creative collaboration.
